Hello, Cruisers!

Fairhope Yacht Club enjoys some of the greatest cruising grounds along the Gulf of Mexico.  Mobile Bay has numerous opportunities for day-sails and overnight anchorages within a few hours of home.  To the west are the barrier islands of Mississippi Sound, Lake Pontchartrain and New Orleans.  To the east are Pensacola, Santa Rosa Sound and the Florida Panhandle.  We have one of the most beautiful anchorages along the entire Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at Ingram Bayou; numerous marinas; and great jumping-off points for longer-distance cruises to Tampa/Clearwater, the Florida Keys and beyond.

FYC Cruisers is a large and active cruising fleet that participates in day-, weekend and longer cruises.  Our Delta/Blue Gill, Memorial Day, “Summer Sailstice” and Blue Angels Homecoming cruises and our holiday Open Boat “dock cruise” are annual favorites.  We also sponsor "car cruises" to area attractions and cruisers’ social events throughout the cruising season.
