Upcoming Events

Fun events are planned for July 4th at the Club

Kayak race, 10am; perhaps a Sunfish race (time to be determined); a Frozen tee-shirt contest, 2pm, Rubber duck race, 11:30am; water slide and snocones all day. The pool will be open from 9am and close at 8pm.  IDs will be checked on Saturday – so you should have either your club card or some form of identification (the pool attendants have a member list). You may bring guests to the pool (limit 4 per the Pool Policy and Regulations). Please also observe “No Glass” of any kind in the pool area.

The restaurant and bar will open at 11:00 and close at 5:00 so that the staff can enjoy the remainder of the holiday.

Remember to drive slowly down Volanta and in the parking lots. There will be many many people, and especially little ones. Let’s keep the 4th of July a safe holiday at the club.

July 4: Firecracker Cruise

Here is what’s happening or coming up at the Club . . .

Beginning the 1st full week of June the restaurant will again be serving lunch during the week on Thursdays and Fridays beginning at 11:00am.

The Fairhope Yacht Club Summer Sailing Instructors will be offering free sailing days on Mondays and Wednesdays in June and July starting at 5pm.  Boats available for use will include Optis, Sunfish, Lasers and 420s.  Due to the limited number of boats we will not be able to reserve any ahead of time.  Plan on first being checked out in the boat you want to take out.  Call Carol Revel 251-421-5863 if you have any questions.

The summer is always a busy and fun time at FYC. When you come down for dinner, remember to check the chalk board for the daily specials, or ask your server. And don’t forget Wednesday nights offer a “fish and grits” special.

It is surely a good sign when there are double rainbows above your club !!
